Quickstart

Route your first request

  1. Sign in and create an Instance. Set a meaningful monthly dollar budget.
  2. In that instance's Credentials tab, vault an OpenAI, Anthropic, or compatible-provider key.
  3. In Keys, create a gateway key. Copy it immediately; Gatekeeper shows the full key only once.
  4. Point your server-side application at the AI proxy. Never place the gateway key in a browser bundle or mobile app.

The gateway key is bound to its instance. The X-App-ID header must match that key when both are present. JWT authentication uses Gatekeeper's Supabase Auth and is limited to the owner of the selected instance.
